Are you applying to Trinity University (TU) for management programs in Bachelors? Then, you must know this.
TU is a reputed university in Nepal. Its management programs include: BBA | BHM | BIM | BCA | BTTM | BHTM | BHCM | BBM | BIT | BMS and and others. There are limited seats for deserving students in the university. To qualify for those seats, the following is the merit-list:
60% marks in CMAT Examination
30% marks from grades in plus 2 or equivalent
10% from Interview
Group Discussion for some programs.

What is CMAT?
Central Management Admission Test
CMAT is a mandatory written examination that tests whether students are deserving to study undergraduate management programs at TU. It is conducted by the Faculty of Management of TU. CMAT is a highly competitive test hence passing CMAT alone won’t ensure your admission to the university. One needs to pass an interview and then group discussions too.

Academic requirements
Minimum 45% aggregate in +2 or grade C in all subjects in Grades 11 and 12.
CGPA of 1.8 out of 4.0 in +2 or intermediate or equivalent level
At least 3.5 credits for A-Level students.
Modules and Formats
The total time period of the CMAT test is 90 minutes and the test is evaluated for 100 marks, with each section consisting of 25 questions.
The four sections in the CMAT test are:
Verbal Ability:
This section consists of 25 questions for 25 marks.
The questions are similar to SAT English test questions which include vocabulary, passage, idioms and phrases, and prepositions.
Quantitative Aptitude:
This section is worth 25 marks with 25 questions.
The questions are similar to SAT mathematics test questions.
Logical Reasoning:
Similarly, this section has 25 questions for 25 marks.
This section asks to identify types of relations, find odd ones, solve figures and relations, and solve arguments and flow charts.
General Awareness:
Like other sections, it has 25 questions weighing 25 marks.
Questions are from current affairs, facts, science and literature, and management theories.
Note: To qualify for the Interview, students have to pass CMAT by scoring at least 40%.
