About CMAT

CMAT contains four sections-Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, and General Knowledge. Each section carries 25 marks (100 total). Students get 90 minutes for 100 objective questions and must secure at least 40% to pass, though selection is based on merit and quotas. Final college admission also considers group discussion and personal interview alongside your CMAT score.

CMAT Application Process

  1. Visit the Tribhuvan University website and open the CMAT form.
  2. Submit personal details and documents (academic certificates, photo, payment voucher of NPR 1,000, citizenship).
  3. Select preferred colleges and submit the application.
  4. Receive your admit card with center and time.
  5. Attend the CMAT exam with your admit card.
  6. Wait for results.
  7. Complete group discussion and personal interview as required.
  8. Secure admission in your preferred college based on merit.
